I don't like looking at old pictures, they're just reminders of friends lost

Memories brought to life framed on a wall, is all we could have been

Time takes it's toll as we're paying for the cost

What happened to those people?

It seems so long ago, but don't be confused, it was just yesterday

As quick as a flip of the wrist waving your hand goodbye out the window

Nine years goes so fast, I don't know that girl anymore

I often wonder where she went?

With her pigtails and backwards baseball caps

The simplicity that comes with being naive, I know We miss it

I know They do

They shined with the light from the Sun, but it's to late to head North, the storm has already come

So we close our blinds from the outside world

Let em flee, be free?

That's what They thought was freedom

Finding themselves in the midst of everyone else

The only thing They found was deceit, guiding further from Their true heartbeat
